Weather Reminders

This time of year often brings frequent transitions between warm and cold weather. Please help your child come to school prepared for changing conditions.

  • Ensure your child has appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for all weather conditions.
  • Students spend approximately 20 minutes outside at lunch (weather permitting), and some Physical Education classes may also take place outdoors.
  • Families are encouraged to review transportation preparedness checklists to ensure students are ready for daily travel in all conditions.

Being properly dressed helps students stay comfortable and fully participate in their learning.

Parking Reminders

To help keep everyone safe:

  • Do not park or drop off students in the bus zone between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
  • Use marked crosswalks at all times.
  • Do not park in or enter the school parking lot.

We appreciate your cooperation.

Expectations for Athletic Events

CBE middle schools have aligned expectations to promote safety, respect, and a positive experience for all participants.

Please note:

  • Student spectators must be accompanied by their own parent or guardian. Supervision by another adult is not permitted.
  • There are no in-and-out privileges. Spectators who leave the building may not re-enter.
  • All visitors must enter through the main doors only. Attempting to enter through alternative doors may trigger security protocols and result in significant consequences.
  • Spectators are expected to support players, coaches, and referees in a positive manner.
  • Student spectators without parental supervision will be directed to leave immediately.
  • Disrespectful behaviour will be addressed by both the hosting school administration and the student’s home school administration. The Student and Parent Code of Conduct applies at all times.
  • Spectators may be asked to leave depending on the severity of the issue. In some cases, parents may be asked not to return.

Thank you for supporting a safe and respectful athletic environment.
