Ramadan 

Ramadan begins on February 28 and ends on March 29/30. For those who celebrate Ramadan in our school community, we wish you a peaceful and meaningful Ramadan. 

Spectator Changes for Sporting/Athletic Events 

Due to the CUPE strike, for games occurring on CBE properties, spectatorship is limited to parents/guardians and playing athletes for the foreseeable future. We would like to remind spectators of our protocols for attending games at Dr. Egbert School to ensure a positive playing experience for all athletes, coaches and referees.  No Food or Drink is allowed in the gym. As parents/guardian spectators, it’s important to remember that your role is to be a model, not a critic. Please be advised that we reserve the right to remove any spectator who does not uphold these expectations at our events. An administrator will be on-site for all games to assist with supervision during the games. Thank you so much for supporting our athletes, coaches and referees throughout the athletic season.

School Planning Survey

The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback from families on school planning, which includes the school development plan, school budget, and school fees. When students, staff and families work closely together, students experience greater success. We will thoughtfully consider all the feedback we receive in making decisions about school planning. Survey responses will be used only for the purpose stated in the survey and anonymity will be protected when sharing survey results. Personal information is collected under section 33(c) of Alberta’s FOIP Act and is subject to the privacy sections of the FOIP Act.

Parent information regarding the CUPE labour action can be found HERE.  *Please note that events outside of school hours in CBE schools and buildings may be impacted due to the strike.
