Good afternoon Egbert families,

Please note a few important messages.

Grade 9 Farewell

Grade 9 Farewell event will take place on June 25 in the gymnasium at the school.  The formal program will begin at 2:45 pm. Guests with tickets can begin entering the gym at 2:15 pm. Due to capacity restrictions, students are limited to three tickets for their family. Unfortunately, extra tickets will not be available. Following the ceremony, parents will have time for photos with students. Doors will re-open at 6:00 pm for the farewell celebration and dance. Only teachers and Grade 9 students will attend this portion of the event. As a reminder, this is a school-based celebration and not a formal graduation, so we ask that students dress in smart, semi-formal attire—like what might be worn to a holiday gathering / special family event. We would like for all students to feel comfortable, included, and able to enjoy this memorable event with their peers.

PAT Exams | Reminder - Parent Permission Required

As previously communicated, while families do have the option to authorize their Grade 9 child to leave school early on PAT test days, classes will continue as scheduled with valuable instructional time being provided. We strongly encourage students to stay for the full day, as every hour of learning is meaningful. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to provide a strong finish to the school year.
