Welcome to the 2026/27 school year! We are excited to reconnect with students and families and look forward to another year of learning, achievement, and community spirit.
We are committed to creating a welcoming, caring, respectful, and safe environment for all students, staff, and families. At the CBE we have a shared responsibility to foster inclusion, respect diversity, and ensure every member of our school community feels a sense of belonging. We encourage families to support these values by promoting kindness, respectful communication, and positive relationships both in and outside of school. Together, we can help create a school culture where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported.
In the coming weeks, much information will be requested of families, and we ask that all requested information be submitted and returned to the school when required. We usually send out a weekly update (which is available on the website) every Friday to keep you updated on special days, upcoming events and what is happening at the school.
The CBE has hired hundreds of teachers, education assistants, and other school staff to support student learning. These positions have been funded by the Government of Alberta with the intention of addressing classroom complexity, class sizes improving learning environments and support diverse learning needs.
